Description
Transcription factor that specifically binds to the octamer motif (5"-ATTTGCAT-3"). Regulates transcription in a number of tissues in addition to activating immunoglobulin gene expression. Modulates transcription transactivation by NR3C1, AR and PGR. Isoform 5 activates the U2 small nuclear RNA (snRNA) promoter. [UniProt]
Application Notes
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points.Titration of the OCT-2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Immunogen
A portion of amino acids 112-297 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the OCT-2 antibody.
Storage
Store the OCT-2 antibody at 2-8oC (with azide) or aliquot and store at -20oC or colder (without azide).
