IGF2BP1 is a member of the insulin-like growthfactor 2 mRNA-binding protein family. The protein encoded by thisgene contains four K homology domains and two RNA recognitionmotifs. It functions by binding to the mRNAs of certain genes, including insulin-like growth factor 2, beta-actin andbeta-transducin repeat-containing protein, and regulating theirtranslation. Two transcript variants encoding different isoformshave been found for this gene.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the IGF2BP1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 508-534 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the IGF2BP1 antibody.
Aliquot the IGF2BP1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
