Rho GTPases control a variety of cellular processes. Thereare 3 subtypes of Rho GTPases in the Ras superfamily of small Gproteins: RHO, RAC, and CDC42. GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs) bindactivated forms of Rho GTPases and stimulate GTP hydrolysis.Through this catalytic function, Rho GAPs negatively regulateRho-mediated signals. GAPs may also serve as effector molecules andplay a role in signaling downstream of Rho and other Ras-likeGTPases.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the Rac GTPase-activating protein 1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 23-50 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the Rac GTPase-activating protein 1 antibody.
Aliquot the Rac GTPase-activating protein 1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
