Clathrin-mediated endocytosis is a majormechanism for internalization of proteins and lipids. Members ofthe connecdenn family, such as DENND1B, function as guaninenucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) for the early endosomal smallGTPase RAB35 and bind to clathrin and clathrin adaptorprotein-2. Thus, connecdenns link RAB35activation with the clathrin machinery.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the DENND1B antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 39-68 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the DENND1B antibody.
Aliquot the DENND1B antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
