CSF2 is a cytokine thatcontrols the production, differentiation, and function ofgranulocytes and macrophages. The active form of the protein isfound extracellularly as a homodimer. This gene has been localizedto a cluster of related genes at chromosome region 5q31, which isknown to be associated with interstitial deletions in the 5q-syndrome and acute myelogenous leukemia. Other genes in the clusterinclude those encoding interleukins 4, 5, and 13. [provided byRefSeq].
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the CSF2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 59-85 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the CSF2 antibody.
Aliquot the CSF2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
