Description
Acyl CoA synthetase long chain family member 1 is an isozyme of thelong-chain fatty-acid-coenzyme A ligase family. Although differingin substrate specificity, subcellular localization, and tissuedistribution, all isozymes of this family convert free long-chainfatty acids into fatty acyl-CoA esters, and thereby play a key rolein lipid biosynthesis and fatty acid degradation. Application Notes
Titration of the ACSL1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Immunogen
A portion of amino acids 505-533 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this ACSL1 antibody.
Storage
