Description
This gene is a member of the BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19kd-interacting protein (BNIP) family. It interacts with the E1B 19kDa protein which is responsible for the protection ofvirally-induced cell death, as well as E1B 19 kDa-like sequences ofBCL2, also an apoptotic protector. Alternative splicing of thisgene results in four protein products with identical N- andC-termini.
Application Notes
Titration of the BNIP1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Immunogen
A portion of amino acids 26-55 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this BNIP1 antibody.
Storage
Aliquot the BNIP1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
