Transcription factor jun-B is a protein that in humans is encoded by the JUNB gene. It is mapped to 19p13.2. It is a transcription factor involved in regulating gene activity following the primary growth factor response. It binds to the DNA sequence 5"-TGA[CG]TCA-3", and a large fraction (over 50%) of the JUNB locus is contained in these flanking evolutionarily conserved sequences (FECS), which may be required for effecting the proper transcriptional regulation of this gene. Addtionally, the expression of JUNB gene might be involved in terminal granulocyte differentiation or in regulating granulocyte functionality.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts.Titration of the JunB antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
An amino acid sequence from the C-terminus of human JunB (QLKQKVMTHVSNGCQLLLGVKGHAF) was used as the immunogen for this JunB antibody (100% homologous in human, mouse and rat).
After reconstitution, the JunB antibody can be stored for up to one month at4oC.For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
