Description
Microtubule-associated tumor suppressor 1 cooperates with AGTR2 to inhibit ERK2 activation and cell proliferation. May be required for AGTR2 cell surface expression. Together with PTPN6, induces UBE2V2 expression upon angiotensin-II stimulation. Isoform 1 inhibits breast cancer cell proliferation, delays the progression of mitosis by prolonging metaphase and reduces tumor growth.
Application Notes
Titration of the MTUS1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Immunogen
A portion of amino acids 183-226 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the MTUS1 antibody.
Storage
Aliquot the MTUS1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
