This gene is a member of the N-myc downregulated genefamily which belongs to the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. Theprotein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic protein that may beinvolved in the regulation of mitogenic signalling in vascularsmooth muscles cells.
