Natriuretic Peptide Receptor 3/C is the receptor for the natriuretic peptide hormones, binding with similar affinities atrial natriuretic peptide NPPA/ANP, brain natriuretic peptide NPPB/BNP, and C-type natriuretic peptide NPPC/CNP. May function as a clearance receptor for NPPA, NPPB and NPPC, regulating their local concentrations and effects. May regulate diuresis, blood pressure and skeletal development. Does not have guanylate cyclase activity.

Titration of the NPR3 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

A partial recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 200-420 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the NPR3 antibody.

Aliquot the NPR3 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
