This gene is the putative transforming gene of aviansarcoma virus 17. It encodes a protein which is highly similar tothe viral protein, and which interacts directly with specifictarget DNA sequences to regulate gene expression. This gene isintronless and is mapped to 1p32-p31, a chromosomal region involvedin both translocations and deletions in human malignancies.

Titration of the phospho-JUN antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

This phospho-JUN antibody was produced from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding pT289 of mouse JUN.

Aliquot the phospho-JUN antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
