The product of this gene is a member of thereceptor-interacting protein (RIP) family of serine/threonineprotein kinases, and contains a C-terminal domain unique from otherRIP family members. The encoded protein is predominantly localizedto the cytoplasm, and can undergo nucleocytoplasmic shuttlingdependent on novel nuclear localization and export signals. It is acomponent of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor-I signalingcomplex, and can induce apoptosis and weakly activate the NF-kappaBtranscription factor.
Titration of the RIPK3 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 480-509 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this RIPK3 antibody.
Aliquot the RIPK3 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
