Description
Probable transcription factor involved in the development of the midbrain/hindbrain boundary (MHB) organizer and specification of neuronal cell fates. Required for establishment of eng2 and eng3 gene expression in the midbrain and MHB primordium during late gastrulation.
Application Notes
Titration of the Pax2a antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Immunogen
A portion of amino acids 258-284 from the zebrafish protein was used as the immunogen for this Pax2a antibody.
Storage
Aliquot the Pax2a antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
